NIU Begins On-campus Vaccination Drive

With the announcement by the Japanese government that approved universities will be able to begin vaccinating students and staff on campus, NIU became just one of 32 universities in Japan to be approved and begin vaccinations on Day 1 of eligibility. Moreover, we were the only university in Kyushu to do so.

All students and staff of NIU and the Kyushu Bunka Gakuen Education Group are eligible for free vaccinations on campus. In all, approximately 4,000 are scheduled to be vaccinated over two two-week periods in June and July. NIU has set up dedicated facilities with overseen by faculty from the Department of Pharmacy.
